Before Udo’s simulation, previous research work on aircraft noise with the aim to ensure the passengers a better protection against noise, were very costly because the work could only take place during a flight. This new technology is now used in the German Aeronautic Center (DLR) as well as aircraft constructor Airbus as they work in collaboration.

The nomination attestation for the »Export Oscar of North« has been given to Udo Borgmann by the Economics Minister Olaf Lies himself at the trade fair Hannover.

Borgmann and his team have currently developed a loudspeaker for sea rescue. This speaker is designed to help in the rescue of people in distress and as far as 2 kilometers away from the sea guards. Indeed, the words coming from this speaker could be heard as far as from a distance of 2000 meters.
